Want a scooter that stands out from the rest? Get this one! What an eye catching designed scooter! Hot Wheels has designed a scooter that is a cool red with the Hot Wheels logo on the base. It isn't the typical silver colored one that everyone else has!
My son got this for his 7th birthday. He had a three wheel scooter that was great to learn on, but over the summer he learned how to ride a 2 wheel one and just had to have one. It is great exercise for him. He has used it in the house when it was new. Going around in circles through the rooms. Now that the weather has been better, he has been able to take it outside and ride all over our driveway. I just have to keep reminding him to wear his helmet!
The scooter itself is durable. It has had grips - RED! It has an adjustable height that is easy to change. The back brake (on the back wheel that you operate with your foot) works fine. I have found that it takes some tries to get it folded. My son can't get it and even I have trouble. I guess that could be a good thing so it doesn't fold while your riding, but it is quite frustrating when you want to fold it to carry or store.
So far I have been very pleased with the scooter. It has provided hours of fun and exercise for my son.
