An excellent value! Perfect for a group of four young moms on a "Moms Take Manhattan" trip. The neighborhood has a "family feel" with lots of people pushing babies in strollers. Everything you need is right there with the subway just a short walk away. We were very pleased with our newly remodeled room and the price of about $65 per person, per night for the four of us could not be beat! The only complaint--and I do mean only--was the motion detectors on the a/c. The a/c had to sense movement in the room in order to stay on. When the movement stopped, the a/c turned off. Needless to say, there wasn't much movement when we were asleep. This led to nightly ritualistic movements to get the a/c to turn on--leg lifts, pillow toss and waving arms became part of the routine. We made the best of it and had lots of laughs. This was an unusually hot week in NYC so this won't usually be an issue. Highly recommend--try it, you won't be disappointed!
