Opinion Summary
|
An Intricate House of Leaves by nayad | Oct 26 '00 Pros: Insanely intricate plot combined with innovative format (if you like that sort of thing, and I do). Cons: Sometimes unwieldy (but then, that's form following function in this case).

The book IS a handful to say the least, and the eccentric style is not for your average Danielle Steele reader. But! Once you get into the swing of the writing style it is simply imposible to put down! I found that it was easier and much more helpful to read the "Navidson Record" parts first, then read Truant's writing afterward. The story seemed to gel more effectively

I always want to like these kinds of books and I never can remember what they were about ten minutes after I read them. I salute your clear memory and the ability to explain the unexplainable.
