huggies, formula, wipes (Reply to this comment)

I used to make several trips a month to Costco exclusively for these. As you said, there was probably better stuff out there, but my cost at Costco was very good so it was worth it. I think they were just making the switch to Velcro when my oldest was born 10 years ago.

Yes, I have heard about cloth diapers and all the misery they caused. I suppose we should be grateful for what we have now, even if (like in the case of Huggies) some of the products are not as good as we would like them to be.

Yes, the diapers were a grave disappointment. With the Huggies name, I assumed they would be much better than this. There are store brands that are better in quality and cost less.

T Have Often Smiled - (Reply to this comment)

as I changed the diapers on my grandchildren or great grandchildren -- thinking what a blessing these disposable diapers are to parents. My kids had diapers that were cotton squares, which I would fold into rectangles, putting the thickest soaking area in the back for the girls, and in the front fot the boys. They were fastened with large safety pins. It didn't take long at all to become expert with the pins, making sure you didn't stick either the baby or yourself. If you took the babies out, you would some times take along a pair of little rubber panties for them to wear over the diaper. This didn't happen often, though, because even a short period on a wet baby could cause a miserable case of diaper rash. Anyway, good luck with your little darlin', and here's hoping you find a diaper that fits your needs.

Fifteen years ago when my daughter was a baby, I would use nothing BUT Huggies. Now, I have a new niece and I can see just how much their quality has deteriorated. Thanks.

I agree as well. I've had nothing but bad luck with Huggies diapers. There are a lot of store brands that are cheaper and are much more absorbent. I do want to try their pull-ups but we're not quite there yet either.
Nice review!

to agree that Huggies are the worst brand of Diapers I have ever used. But, and you are long way from this, I have to admit that I think their pull-ups are better than anything else we have used. Another great review!!!
