| stlrydn's Full Review: Huggies Original Baby Wipes |
I bought these for the first time about a year ago when an online drugstore was offering them for $1.00 and no shipping and handling. How could I turn that down? When I got them, I was surprised at how large the package was. It contained 160 wipes that are 7.5 X 7.5 inches wide.
Scent and Looks
The scent is light and pleasant. They also are available unscented for those children who are allergic to the scent or if you just don't care for it. I also like the design that is on the wipes: little teddy bears. I know my daughter can't see them, but I think they are cute. They are alcohol free, which is also a plus.
How does it work?
I think these wipes work great! They have just enough of the cleaning agent on them to work. They are not too wet or too dry. The teddy bear design also provides just enough texture to aid in the cleaning. I have grown to love their cleaning ability that I also use them for all types of cleaning. I am a teacher, and keep them in my classroom. They are something handy to wipe off desks, fingers, and just about anything else you need wiped off. With all of the different hands using them, I also find it astounding that not one person has been allergic to them.
Container
The original container I received was the resealable refill package. The purpose of this package is to take the amount out that you need to refill the plastic square container. This bag opens by easily tearing off the tear strip, and it comes with a ziplock seal so they will stay moist. The ziplock is like any typical ziplock, and you must be sure that it has sealed totally. I have had some dry out from not confirming. But overall, it works most of the time on the first try.
Ease of getting out
This is my only complaint. Sometimes they stick together and they are hard to get out of the container. They advertise on the bag "Easy-grip edge for easy dispensing" I wish they had a way of guaranteeing that you were only getting one, because I waste alot that way. But if you just slow down, you can confirm that you only have one. (Who has all that time with a crying baby though?)
Overall, I would recommend the Huggies baby wipes. They do a great job.
