I must say that I love these things! My ten year old son wet the bed until he was nine. He was embarrassed and ashamed about this and would refuse to spend the night with anybody, this included Boy Scout trips and church camp outs. I took him to three doctors who all decided not to give him medication, and said he would grow out of it. When your child wets the bed it really hurts their self-esteem.
I saw these in the store one day and thought I would try them as there was a Boy Scout trip coming up the next weekend. I let him wear one to bed before he went and it actually kept his clothes and the bed from getting soaked. He woke up excited and wanted to go. He took one to the camp out and discreetly put it on when he put his pajamas on. He did wet in it, but I put a plastic baggy in his bag and he slipped it in there when he woke up and no one knew about it. That was the first of many trips my son would go on. He has truly opened up and for the first time spent the night with friends and invited friends over. He has blossomed because of these and is a much happier child.
The GoodNites look like pull-ups or a one piece thin diaper that is pulled on rather than taped on. They are thinner than a diaper, so they don't look bulky under the child's night clothes. My son was a little apprehensive about letting anyone see them, because they are cloth and don't look like underwear, but under the pajamas no one knows except your child. They come in many sizes and fit even larger children. They are slightly expensive, but I think they are worth every penny!
