| James_Mommy's Full Review: Huggies Supreme Diapers |
My Mother-In-Law purchased a package of Huggies Diapers for me almost every month of my pregnancy. I guess she was trying to tell me that she liked them. Maybe because I wanted to be an individual or maybe just rebellious (;o) but I would use them then buy another brand the next trip to the store.
I have to say that I came back to these and have found that I really like them. The best features are the cloth-like feel and the velcro closures (no more getting the tape stuck to your fingers). These diapers don't droop when wet and can hold a lot of liquid. I found that other diapers tend to darken in the places they are wet, these do not.
I'm not sure that changing time has been made more "fun" with the Learning Time designs but I do think the designs on the diapers are cute for both boys and girls. By the way, an example of the Learning Times Design is that on the front of one diaper there is a baby turtle playing with a wooden block. On the back the same diaper the baby turtle and his parents are helping him with the blocks. There are other scenes with baby elephants, ducks, birds or bears on the front and then the babies and parents playing on the back.
I know that for my son, he needs his diapers put on a little tighter because, being a boy, he pees upwards. Even though they are a little more snug, I've never had a problem with the waist chaffing him (as I have with other name brand diapers).
The bottom line is that if you like the feel of cloth without the hassle, I would definitely recommend the Huggies Supreme or the Pampers Premium.
Added bonus: Huggies gives tons of coupons through the mail and in newspaper circulars!! Pampers rarely does.
