This Husqvarna 325 E-X edger I had second thoughts on purchasing just because of the price. I was reluctant to pay $ 284.00 dollars for just an edging machine.
But I am in a situation of having 53 customers who want detailed perfection, so it's a must have.
This edger gives trimming sidewalks and driveways that new professional look edge. While quality, durability and performance are a must in the commercial turf management field. This machine exceeds those qualifications. It's balancing/adjustable wheel glides with you to make that perfect line at your desired depth. Depth levels from one inch to four inches.
Creating new flower beds with this edger has been a task for me since last fall. I would begin with my garden hose making the outline of my flower bed then using landscapers spray chalk to make my outlines. To start unearthing the soil I would begin by using this edger to create the edging around the whole new flower bed. A final go around when the whole bed is completed will make your flower beds look great.
What defines this edger better than the rest I would say is the lower vibrations this machine gives off. Besides holding it in your grasp and the vibrations the engine makes while running, the blade part is really smooth when using it.
This machine has a noise decibel of 96db idling. When using the blade it peeks at 102db. That is less than the average edger or weed trimmer. So just a little less wear and tear on those eardrums. Please make sure you have eye and ear protection on when using, maybe even a pair of gloves would be nice also. Gas usage can be compared to other trimmers and edgers that I have used. This 24cc engine comes with a 16 ounce fuel tank. The idling rpms are 2,700 when this machine is at its maximum the levels reach 11,700 rpm. This edger also exceeds the 1999 E.P.A. standards for PH1 emission control.
Great 2 year warranty on the engine and parts. This Husqvarna 325 E-X edger is great for home or commercial use. Please read instruction manual provided before using. Husqvarna also provides eye glasses and tools needed to service this machine.
