The Bottom Line: I would not recommend this hotel unless you're not going to be in your room very much. The Westin is just down the road, probably a better option.

The Hyatt in Greenville SC was not one of the better hotels I've stayed at. My husband and I were there for one night for a concert, and we weren't very happy with the rate we paid for the room. It was not what I had expected.
The room itself was rundown. The wallpaper was coming off the walls, there were spots on the walls, the floor was dirty, the light fixtures were covered in dust, it was just not clean at all. The bathroom was tiny! There wasn't much room to turn around. I couldn't get the shower to work, but after playing with it for 15 minutes if finally operated. The coffee pot was in the bathroom, which I just do not like! It doesn't belong there.
We ordered room service for breakfast and it was pretty decent. No complaints there. They had a breakfast buffet which we could see from our room, and it looked pretty decent, but it was closing down for the morning when we were ready to eat.
The location of this hotel is great though. You can walk outside the door and there are restaurants and shops all around. Since we were there for a concert, the Bi-Lo Center was just a short walk down the road. Very convenient!
If I ever go back to Greenville, I will stay at the Westin just down the road. Overall, The Hyatt was not for me.
