Pros: Great LCD screen, good performance, loaded with features
Cons: Does get hot, Li Ion battery life is only adequate
The Bottom Line: Excellent machine. I've recommended the T21 to 2 other people. Both are demanding users and both are happy with the decision.

I've been a laptop user for 8 years, and am now on my 5th machine. (2 Compaq, 1 Dell, 1 IBM, and now the T21) I'm also a demanding user... my laptop is my full-time computer at the office. It also goes home with me daily and goes along on frequent travel (1 trip per week, usually).
The T21 excels in several areas:
1) Size... Given the size of the screen (which is ESSENTIAL for full time use) the T21 is quite compact. I've had others that were impossible to use on airplanes due to the size of the case. The IBM works fine in coach seating.
2) Screen quality... both the size of the screen and color are exceptional. Much better than the Dell Latitude.
3) Features... everything that's essential is built in. Network and phone connectivity, DVD (great for on-the-road film watching!), USB, etc. FireWire would be nice, but is achievable via PCMCIA card. Some here have pointed out the lack of a floppy. Frankly, I'm glad to not have the extra bulk of the floppy drive... I find few applications for floppies these days.
4) Keyboard... some laptops have abysmal keyboards. If you use the machine a lot, this can be a major annoyance. The IBM has a great feel.
The only negatives are the power consumption (yes, it does got warm). This is not much of an issue though. You will want a power cord for air travel, but with that you're good to go. And it does get a tad warm, but no more so than other high-performance laptops I've had.
