Pros: Keyboard, screen, usability, reliability, portability, speed!
Cons: None!! But, are you a trackpoint fan? If not, then it's a con.
The Bottom Line: You are either a touchpad person or a trackpoint person - if you like the trackpoint (on IBM's and Tosh's), then this machine is for you!

| slim1705's Full Review: Lenovo ThinkPad T22 2647 (TT28EUK) PC Notebook |
I bought this T22 in January 2002, and everything worked perfectly the minute it arrived. It's very upgradable and operates at light speed. The Thinkpads come in three flavors:
A Series - bulky, but with all the fixin's - 1yr warranty
T Series - more portable but still has all the fixin's - the floppy is separate and you switch it with the DVD (you can switch them while working)
X Series - very light and ultra-portable, but all the bits are separate.
The T and X series come with 3-year warranties, and that I'd HIGHLY recommend. My last Thinkpad went through 4 LCDs and it was nice to just walk in and have them replace the $1000 part!
I made two buying decisions: First, I've found that the absolute top-of-the-line machines cost a bomb, but the next level down are a LOT cheaper, and second, I needed power and portability.
I went with the T-Series T22 (900Mhz rather than the 1.2Ghz T23) and I've not been disappointed. The extra speed is totally unnoticable and you get slowed by the disk drive more than anything else. I was a little worried when I couldn't get my Pilot to Hotsync over the infrared under Windows 2000 (a big deal for me given I travel a lot), but a download from Palm fixed that and I'm now thrilled. The Windows 2000 Operating system is excellent and NEVER crashes [finally-a reliable MS product].
The battery lasts 3-3.5 hours depending on how much screen/processor power you use.
