Pros: Reliability. Display. Driver support. Stability. Tech Support. IBM TrackPoint is much better than other Touchpads
Cons: HORRIBLE keyboard. TrackPoint center button has been moved. P4 1.8GHz not faster than P3 1.2GHz
The Bottom Line: The keyboard is poorly designed. The P4 Mobile is not any faster that the P3 chip in the T23 (I've benchmarked it)

| shizat63's Full Review: Lenovo ThinkPad T30 2366 (2366G1U) PC Notebook |
I'm a Sys Engineer for a major company. I love ThinkPad's. I've used them all- ThinkPad 600, 600E, 600X, T21, T23. Each one was better that the previous model. I have to say that this T30 is TERRIBLE.
1- My biggest complaint is the horribly designed keyboard. Just terrible. They keys are loud and just not as good as every other ThinkPad I've used.
2- The web navigation buttons are REALLY annoying and unnecessary.
3- Where's the really Windows key? I know you can remap keys, but it's not the same.
4- The Fn function key is not useful and should be replaced with a Windows key.
5- They moved the really useful center Trackpoint button to a BAD location in order to make room for the inferior Touchpad.
6- The P4 mobile 1.8GHz is not any faster at running apps than the less power hungry P3 1.2GHz- I've benchmarked the laptop and it's not faster.
Overall I'm REALLY disappointed in IBM. I might have to go with Dell with my next home laptop.
