Pros: A really great picture and good sound quality. The price can't be beat.
Cons: Confusing users guide; no website contact info; no remote code or apparnt tech support.
The Bottom Line: A good buy if you get it set up and no tech help or support is required. Durability unknown.

I bought my ILO TV from my local "Not so Super Wal-Marts" on 12/10/05. They were out of stock and it took some effort to find someone willing and able to help determine incoming availability or to locate one. Because the picture of the one display model was superb and the price was right ($696 plus tax) I hung in there and finally got one that an Asst Mgr picked up from another store.
I admit to not being an audio-visual whiz but found their
"Systems Connections" a bit confusing ..with no reference to connecting a satellite receiver .. but trial and error saved the day. Missing from the "User Guide" was some important information .. such as the fact that ILO has no program "code" to permit the use of a universal remote .. so I ended up with one remote for my satellite receiver and the one from ILO (two remotes for this is a bit much). Also missing was any reference to their website or an email contact. There is an 800 number that I tried and, after a 20 minute wait, gave up but I did get their URL contact info.(www.initialdvd.com) .. just be prepared to do some hunting at the web site.
There is apparently no Tech Help. One has to wonder if Wal-Mart, as their prime outlet, will step up an force that issue. Let us pray that they do.
All in all, I love the picture quality but pray that nothing goes wrong. Any problems may be incurable.
