Pros: Made good on their warranty (with receipt). Picture, weight, packaged well.
Cons: Chintzy speakers. Mediocre life span. Certain COMPOSITE signals (like PS2) not supported?!
The Bottom Line: Spend the extra hundred dollars: get a brand name that will last longer. If you MUST save money, go with Sanyo, Vizio or Olevia. Walmart overcharges (use tigerdirect or newegg)

Xbox 360, PS3, Game Cube, Wii... all work. PS2 Component shows "no supported signal" ... it will work if a movie begins in the PS2 and show the movie fine (but the TV still reports there is no signal and attempts to shut off after so many minutes when watching the movie in progressive scan with said cables). Strange, huh?
Great picture. Also, decent sound unless you're looking for the big theater sound. The regular stereo 5w speakers will get you through tv shows, typical video gaming, a football game and whatever else you need, but if you're trying to get your buddies over for an action movie, I suggest an external sound system with power.
It's packed well from the company but don't expect a great deal of support from them. It has a ONE YEAR WARRANTY. For everyone that claims, "they die between 6 and 8 months!" just hold on to that warranty.
HOLD ON TO YOUR RECEIPT and call 1800 428 1105. IF you have your sales receipt, they WILL replace your television with very little questions asked. If it just stops working, they'll send you the latest model. The 2007 model is a 27 inch, the LCT27HA36. I now own this model.
The warranty is 1 year for parts and labor or replacement, and is for residential use. The warranty for commercial use is ONLY 90 days. So if you're trying to buy this for your office's waiting room... don't. Also, if you're in an area where they don't have an IN-HOME team nearby, they'll pay for shipping and all costs. (I live near DC, so they have 'in-home' nearby.)
The warranty provides free in-home service for TV's of 27 inches and larger. Now that the 2007 model IS the 27 inch, i'm automatically eligable for that. (Big deal... not.)
The TV sits well and mounts even better. It does NOT tilt on the stand.
Finally, the remote works fine but you have to be almost directly in front of the set for it to work. If you're more than 25 degrees to the left or right, it doesn't pick up the signal.
One last thing: The 27 inch model, LCT27HA36 addresses all the imperfections of its predecessor. Better sound quality (same 5W speakers but they're designed better in the new model), same slow input-changing speed, same slow channel changing speed, but everything else is far better.
I can only hope that it lasts more than 7 months. If not, you'll be hearing from me again, on a review OF the LCT27HA36, when it becomes an eligable selection on this site.
