As an IT professional, I have always been looking for an easy to use router to give to my clients. After trying out D-Link, Netgear, and other no-name brands, I have fell in love with Linksys.

Linksys is very easy to use and install. When I bought the router, I simply followed the directions (even though I knew what I was doing) because I wanted to see how Linksys explained how to set it up. It was a snap.
The administrator diagnostic page for the router is very easy to use and full of detailed options. If you have the experience and know what your doing, the router lets you do almost everything from a simple display screen. There is no code hard to do modifications to the unit for it to do what you want.
Overall, the range of the router is average. I would say it doesn't go as far as the specifications say, but there is always interference somewhere to lower the range.
So far, I have had the router for over 2 years and it is still going strong. I never had any problems with it. I use the wireless on it and also printing/file sharing with my 4 computers in the house.
As for security, I recommend some type of encryption to your wireless so other people cannot use your internet (and even printing/file sharing).
