party hard, but I bet I wouldn't be into any of the other songs, and yes I'm into hard rock, but I just don't see it happening with this group. I also don't like the cover.

Interesting fact... (Reply to this comment)
by pearl-drum-man
Despite all the press and early buzz around this release, and even getting airplay on MTV (the main channel), this record has yet to clip the 70,000 unit mark according to soudscan. That has to be a real disappointment. Especially since it sells for less than $10. Guess Kid Rock's "white trash with cash" persona sorta saturated Andrew's target audience!

Top new British band, The Coral... (Reply to this comment)
by Divine_Cheese
... were on tour with him in February and described him as "A sweaty gimp." They're scallies though so are hard enough to get away with it!
I was never that taken with Andrew WK - he earnt the rather dubious nickname of Andrew Wank in some circles - it all seemed to be this guy yelling "I WANT TO PAAAAARRRRTTTTEEEE!!! AND BLEEEEEEED!!!" a lot. The video for Party Hard is hilarious though - everything you'd expect!

Re: Um, What About That Cover? (Reply to this comment)

Yeah...should have mentioned that the cover actually comes with a big black sticker hiding the bloodied face.
Thanks for the comment, Casey.

Um, What About That Cover? (Reply to this comment)
by kcfoxy
While I do understand PR, controversy and the selling power of same, I would definitely have to say that cover "art" rates as a strong "Con". Ewwww!
And luckily, though that managed to turn my stomach, there was your excellent review, as ever!
