I like your review's focus on the songs in the album and also your search for understanding...
Confusion is good. It's better than blatant.
Also, there is nothing wrong with using a lot of genres in an album.

all your thoughts. the album just seems to ramble on with no cohesion ....i've found it hard to listen to..great review
