When our vet recommended Iam's Lamb and Rice for both dogs, I was skeptical that it would help the problems they both had. However, both dogs showed incredible improvements after eating Iam's for less than a week. The mix's diarrhea disappeared; her stools became solid and healthy. The weimaraner's rash cleared up quickly and his coat took on a beautiful, healthy shine. We were sold, and have been buying Iam's now for over a year.

Some of our friends did not have the luck we have had with this dog food; the most common complaint we hear is that their dog(s) gained too much weight while eating Iam's Lamb and Rice. However, this is typically a complaint from people with less active dogs and people who do not exercise their dogs often enough. We have had no such problem; both of our dogs eat 4 cups of the food every day - 2 cups in the morning and 2 cups in the evening - and have maintained their ideal body weights the entire time. They are VERY active dogs, though, and get at least 2 hours of exercise each day.
