| DeRango's Full Review: Icy Hot Pain Reliever |
If a product claims are founded by developing misconception and overall dissatisfaction, then it is considered a product to avoid as they ultimately lie to the consumer. I have found that with ICYHOT that these speculations could not be closer to the truth as none of the claims by the product were founded in a favorable fashion. As most of you know by now I greatly disapprove of products that make claims where my experience is completely 180 degrees of what is intended. As always here are some basic facts & claims set forth by the Chattern company, whom produces & distributes ICYHOT.

I can vouch for irritation to mucus membranes (noise) and eyes as I accidentally touched my face after applying the product and it was definitely irritating and painful to my noise and burned my eyes. Dont Scratch and itch unless you wash your hands first!
My Thoughts
I felt that the product lead to more discomfort, burning, and itching than relief of sore tired muscles. In addition to burning and discomfort ICYHOT has an overpowering noxious stench of mint which can be smelled from across the room and for a good period of time after it is applied. The formula is somewhat greasy and even though when you apply ICYHOT it dries fairly quickly anything you touch leaves behind a greasy foul mint stench. I would highly recommend avoiding it and using an alternative source to relieving your sore muscles & joints.
Some Alternative Recommendation
What I usually do with sore muscles: I enjoy a large glass of water or fruit juice; draw myself a nice warm bath using Epson Salt, and enjoy a nice rub down in some topical oil from my loved one. I found this is most relaxing and dont forget to gently stretch that sore muscle if it remains stiff. If the muscle is sprained I usually wrap it with an ace bandage for support and apply ice to reduce swelling and keep it elevated above my heart to minimize throbbing. In addition to this I will rarely use an Aspirin or painkiller if necessary to increase my comfort in the healing process.
