I would recommend this product due to the compact dimensions, ease of transport and the ability to keep the food cold for approximately 3 days.
I am an avid camping enthusiast. When my previous cooler was stolen on a camping trip and another camping trip around the corner, I knew I had to get a quality cooler soon. When I went shopping, I was upset to learn how expensive a quality cooler was going to be. After much debate over the $50 cost, I choose the Igloo Ice Cube Maxcold 70qt Roller Cooler due to its features.

The features that attracted me to the cooler was the size; 20 x 8 x 23. The dimensions appear compact but able to hold 70 quarts. The product has a guarantee to hold ice up to 5 days in 90 degree weather and the cooler has 2 rear wheels and an apx two feet telescope handle that collapses with a push of a button, allowing for easy transport.
Even though the feature of holding ice for up to 5 days attracted me, I was skeptical. I knew the weather was going to be in the mid 80’s over my three day camping trip, so I figured this would be a good time to test the cooler. To my surprise, by the end of the camping trip, I still had some ice cubes in the cooler that had not melted. All of the food was kept cool and the drinks were unbelievably cold. I do not believe the food would last the full 5 days, most of the ice had begun to melt.
The Igloo Ice Cube Maxcold 70qt Roller Cooler has 2 drink holders molded into the lid for a convenient drink holder that I used during meal times. This allowed me to use the lid as a miniature table to balance my plate and put my drink in the holder.
I have now had this cooler for over one year and it continues to be a quality cooler. I have had some difficulty with the lid continually coming out of the brackets. The lid is not broken, I believe it is designed poorly.
The cooler itself is a medium blue, with the lid being white. The light color is hard to keep clean and the lid has multiple stains that will not come clean after scrubing it several times.
I am able to put 48 beverage cans and still have plenty of room for food. I will put the cans on one side of the cooler and the food on the other side, for convenience.
