Let me tell you, I have this disease, Crohns its called. Crohns wreaks havoc in the digestive system, with complications from stomach ulcers to diarrhea(snicker). I suffer from the latter. I fight that grinding "urge" all the time. Sometimes Imodium is the only sanity one can get when they have Crohns.
I use it on a daily basis and it works, to a point. I take the recommended dosage, for an adult, (4 teaspoons after the first trip to the bathroom and 2 teaspoons after the second trip). It kicks in within 15 to 25 minutes. With that dosage, I can get about 4 to 5 QUALITY, WORRY FREE hours. BUT, If I take any more than that, I tend to get severe stomach pains from gas.
I take the liquid over the pills. The liquid tastes disgusting, but the pills are too large for me to swallow. Sure, the carton says "cherry", but we all know that means, "nasty, dead fish." Of course, if it works...I don't mind tasting rotten fish every once in a while.
This review might be a bit short, but coming from someone who uses this stuff on a daily basis, you can't really get a better "Epinion."
