Let's face it: some of us just have weak stomachs. I have the weakest stomach in the entire world. I'm convinced that God skipped me over when handing out fully functioning digestive systems. Luckily my family and my boyfriend find this to be very humorous. But when you're the sick one, it's not quite so funny.
Imodium Advanced is my best friend on those days when things just aren't going my way. Whether it's bad food or a nervous stomach, this stuff clears the problem up quickly and efficiently. After taking it, I feel back to normal again in less than a half an hour. But Imodium Advanced isn't your typical diarrhea medicine; it claims to not only relieve diarrhea, but to also relieve bloating and gas in one dose. I've found that it does all of this - maybe a little too well though. Don't use this unless you really need to; it may stop you up for a couple of days, which is not a comfortable feeling.
The minty taste of the tablets isn't exactly the most delicious, but it is far better than the taste of liquid medicines. The tablets are a little gritty, but since they do the job so well it's tolerable.
For those of you with stomachs like mine, give Imodium Advanced a try. It works quickly, lasts for a long time (although maybe too long), and will make you feel much better. Keep it on hand for those unexpected times, to avoid sending your significant other (or, God forbid, you!) out on a midnight run.
