bizz's Full Review: Infinity BassLink Car Subwoofer
I first started looking for a subwoofer a little after I got my car and I just wanted more bass. I was looking at powered subwoofers, because I drive a small car (1999 Kia Sephia) and I wanted to still have room in my trunk for my snowboard, and my golf bag at times. I looked at some of the other brands of powered subwoofers, like Bazooka, but the quality was not as nearly as good as the power from the Infinity Basslink.
Sound Quality
The sound quality from this subwoofer is amazing considering how small it is. The main reason for this is because it contains a 10 subwoofer and a 10 passive radiator. This allows the bass to be clear, crisp, and uninterrupted.
This subwoofer runs at 200 watts RMS, which isnt nearly as much as some of the subs on the market now, but it is definitely enough. My mirror generally shakes when Im driving with it, unless it is at a really low volume, and it is powerful to shake your seats, if that is what your looking for. If your not, then you can always turn it down with the remote volume control.
Design
One of the greatest features about this subwoofer is its compact design. The box says it takes up 1 cubic ft. of space, which is about right. That really isnt that much, compared to other subs with the same sound quality. It takes up very little room in the trunk of a car, so you can still fit big objects in your trunk if you need to. I can still easily fit two golf bags, and I can fit my snowboard when I have my rear seats down.
Remote Volume Control
The remote volume control is another great feature that comes with this sub. It comes with a dial that you can put up near your stereo system, which allows you to adjust the volume control of the subwoofer only. It is nice if you feel the bass is too much for just one song. You just turn the dial down and then turn it back up when the next song comes on. It is very useful in many situations.
Price
At first I thought this sub seemed a little pricey. After buying it I realized that this was not the case. It is priced more than other powered subs, but the quality cannot be beat.
