Pros: Clear sound from mid to high. Bass is ok for it size.
Cons: Heavy weight magnet and deep mounting depth. Unipivot tweeter sticks out.
The Bottom Line: Good 4" speakers, but really needs to be used with a amp (any will do or a good powerful HU). Looks solid but needs to be looked after.

I got these speakers for my rear ports to replace the factory one (really crap paper units). One thing i noticed is the mounting depth, not really an issue for me at the rear but i wanted to replace the front door mounted speakers as well (another set of really crap paper dual cone units). Sound quality feed from my Clarion HU is great, nice sounds for its size anyway. The tweeter has a good feature in that you can aim the sound towards the listener, but it sticks out too much in that when i installed them. I had to put some rubber spacers on the screwholes to prevent the tweeters from being crushed on the factory grills. The PlusOne cones mean that the woofer is larger than other speakers of similar size so you get more SPL. I also noticed at the time that the suspension is made of a thick rubber material, this needs a long break in period to get some decent bass going.
