Pros: It can handle tons of watts. Sounds mind blowing.
Cons: It takes a lot of power to make it the best.
The Bottom Line: I recommend these speakers over any 6x9.....ever. So go buy them there not that much.

These speakers make me speachless. They are........wow. The best I have ever heard. Infinity is now my favorite 6x9 designers. These speakers are the clearest I have ever heard. I am only pushing 22 watts rms into each speaker and they sound great. I hooked them up to my friends 1000 watt kenwood excelon amp and the quality became 10 times better seriously. In reality they were wired at 4 ohm pushing 125 watts rms. I dont recomend going higher then that because there rms limit is 110 and 300 peak. Which is excellent for a 6x9. To this day I cant find a 6x9 that can handle more. I did find one jbl speaker that handled the same amount. But I have read up on the jbl 6x9 and it seems to sound identical except I think the infinity looks better. While were on that subject these speakers look great. They are sleek in design and have a sexy apperience all around.
The woofer sounds excellent and gets pretty low but not as low as id like. The sound like a high end pair of 8's with half of the watts. The woofer is very responsive and gets an A+ in my book. The 2 tweeters is where the magic comes in. These two tiny tweeters work in togeather to produce an almost concert feel. The tweeter that produces the mids is an advanced dome tweeter. The other tweeter is called a super tweeter and looks very sublime. It is a flat yellow material with a coil of wire spiraling outward. The mids and highs get an A+ in my book for sure. I was so happy with the preformance on the amp that I decided to buy an identical amp. New of corse. Dont get me wrong 22 watts make these speakers sing better then most but 125 watts make them the standard for all high end 6x9's in the future. Most people will find these Infinity's are all they need to wake up the block.
These speakers in my opinion sounded well crappy when I first got them. But never fear the just need to break in. In 2 a two hour period these will sing. Just dont blast them for a few days. Take it easy and they will wear in corectly.
I suggest you purchase these now. There is no substitute... well except the JBL which sounds the same but kinda looks like crap in my opinion.
