Pros: Tweeters are Bright, Clean, and Clear. Give very good amount of midbass.
Cons: Honestly? Tweeter may be a bit too bright for some.
The Bottom Line: Buy them!

Car: 1990 Mercury Sable GS
Speaker Locations: Woofers placed in the factory location which would be the door. Factory location is about up to your torso in terms of height. Tweeter is placed in the Dash cutouts which are OEM locations. Tweeter is directly in proportion to your head in terms of height. So sound is bouncing off the front windshield and towards your ears resulting in a direct front sound stage.
Other Car Audio Components: Kenwood Excelon X817 Headunit, Pioneer Premier PRS-X340 Amp, Monster Cable XLN 201's, Polk DX 8" 4ohm subwoofer in .33 cubic ft. box. 12 Gauge wiring ran from amp to the Crossover, to the woofers.
Audio Review: These 2 Way Kappa Components sound wonderful. They emit a bright, precise and clear sound from the Ceramic Metal tweeters. You hear sounds you never knew were placed into the recording a lot of times. The sound can be a bit "cold" at times but you get used to it. With the right soundstaging, you can have bands like Dave Matthews seem like they're playing and singing right in front of you. They sound good with all types of music but to me they seem to sound the best with Dance, Alternative, Rock, Drum n Bass, IDM. The woofers are viscious at times! They give a very good amount of bass. If listened to alone the woofers may seem weak but coupled with a small sub they perform very nicely to give you natural sounding bass. You have to give these puppies a lot of power for them to finally start losing definition. The woofers start to severly clip at about 85% volume and bass setting at 5 out of 8, with songs that display heavy bass. Tweeters start to lose definition at almost 95% volume with Trebel setting set at 8 out of 8 and Mids set at 4 out of 8. My amplifier is sending 76 watts RMS of actual power to each crossover. This reading is off an actual Power Spec Sheet provided with the amp. Just to let you know the amp is no joke it has a 3x30 fuse rating. Best of all these speakers are pretty efficient. They don't require tons of power to operate but be warned they don't show their true potential until they're coupled with a decent amount of power and a good set of RCA cables. Can't beat Monster Cable.
Explanation: Why did I give them 5 stars you ask? Bang for the Buck! Very few companies have speakers that can compare to Infinity Kappa and Reference series speakers in terms of quality, sound and price. They sound beautiful for the price. They also have a 3 year warranty that transfers over to any person you may happen to sell them to provided they were bought from an authorized dealer. Why 3 on ease of use? Because in the manual it says you can adjust your crossover some how to hit the bass notes in a different manner but when I opened up the crossover I saw nothing of the sort. The woofer doesn't have as many mounting holes as some other components. Tweeter has many options including a full 180 degree swivel, but can be a little bulky and long depth wise for anyone doing a flush mount.
