Pros: Clear sound, easy installation
Cons: Little Bass emphasis, sound doesn't spread
The Bottom Line: I would recommend these speakers to people just looking for good sound quality, but not for someone needing top-quality sound at all times.

I recently purchased Infinity Kappa (coaxial) 5x7 speakers from a family friend, and installed them in my 1993 Ford Escort Wagon, as a replacement to the rear factory (cardboard) speakers.
As far as sound quality goes, the Infinity speakers surpass my demands. The sound is clear, and if I turn the volume up high enough their sound quality carries from the back of the car to the drivers seat. The speakers make the music sound good, and are an improvement from factory speakers. However, if you are looking for a deep bass sound from them, you won't find it. The emphasis is not on bass, although that isn't always a bad thing.
The installation for these speakers was done by two people, which may be a default of the car I drove. The speakers did not fit fully into my 5x7 slots, but we were able to make them work. The installation was not difficult, by any means, but a bit of tweaking was required to make them feasible.
Overall, I would recommend these speakers to people just looking for good sound quality, but not for someone needing top-quality sound at all times.
