Pros: Crisp highs, nice mids, handles 60 watts RMS! Hard to distort, CHEAP!
Cons: don't put out too much bass
The Bottom Line: Buy these speakers if you have a 5x7 or a 6x8 speaker opening, you will be glad you invested your money in them! For the price, you can't go wrong!

| beeej259's Full Review: Infinity Reference 5752cf Car Tweeter |
Ever since I was a little kid, I've always dreamed of owning a mustang. Now that my time has come around for me to drive, I own one. But what is the point of having a mustang without a good sound system? I looked high and low for a good set of speakers that was in my price budget, and i found that the Infinity 5 x 7 speakers were the perfect fit for my car, and my wallet.
I purchased a pair of these speakers off of EBay for around 60 bucks, factory sealed with a warranty. I have heard nothing but praises from people with these speakers, and I even went to the Wiz and compared and tried them out for myself. The only other speakers that could work for my car were made by pioneer, and they were really weak. I chose the Infinity's because of their high power handling capabilities, and because of their swivel tweeter design. You can turn the tweeters a full 360º around for the best sound flow in your car. The cones are made of plastic so that they won't warp or deteriorate with time. The tweeter is all silk and the speakers do not distort. The only complaint I have about the speakers is that they do not put out much base... Not a big issue since I now have 2 ten inch subwoofers in the back. I now run these speakers with a high pass filter so that I can crank the bass up high without harming the speakers. I am also using a Sony X-Plod cdx-m610, which puts out about 21 watts RMS. However, if you have a stock head unit in your car like I first did, there is still a HUGE difference in sound from the stock speakers to the new ones.
There are other speakers out there that could probably blow mine away, but for the price, you just can't go wrong. If you would rather spend 250 bucks for a set of component speakers which you would most likely have to drill and cut to install, then go ahead. For me, it was easier to just screw these speakers in the spots where the old ones were.
