Pros: Great bass, easy install, great highs
Cons: Some weird bass sometimes.
The Bottom Line: Buy these speakers and you will be very pleased. Infinity lives up to their reputation!

The Infinity's I bought are 5x7's, but fit in a 6x8 opening in my Mustang. I think it came with special mounting plates, thats why. The speakers have an oversized cone which makes considerably more bass than other 5x7 speakers, especially stock. The tweeters are EXCELLENT and reproduce every facet of the music. I am buying an external amplifier to get even more from these speakers, powering them sufficiantly is a big gain. The install was very easy... four screws and put the speakers in and screw them in again... but first you have to figure out how to GET to the speakers. That was the only tricky part. Sometimes these is some strange noises when the bass hits though. Kind of like air rushing in and out of the speaker, but its not even that loud, unnoticable when you turn the music up. On the whole GREAT speakers.
