Grand Prix 3 is the definitive Formula One simulator, no doubt about it. The handling and the way the car setup affects it is much improved from Grand Prix 2, where sometimes it would do things that didn’t seem to make much sense. The graphics are also much improved, though nothing to make your jaw drop to far. I have to say though that the shiny track in the wet does look pretty good. There are a few problems I have with the game though; it’s not overly stable, I seem to end up unexpectedly back at the desktop to often. There’s also a serious bug in the game. I qualified first (Woohoo!) and then saved my game. Came back the next day, loaded the game and was at the back of the grid, still with my fastest lap time. It was extremely frustrating! At the moment, Grand Prix 3 is a slightly flawed masterpiece, if a patch comes out then it can have 10/10 – until then, 9/10.
