My German Shepherd weighs 110 pounds. We took him to a professional trainer who suggested the Smart Dog Trainer. Maxie was just a little head strong and when he decided he wanted to take off to chance a squirrel or another animal he could easily leave. We wanted to train him to be off lead so I could take him into my front yard and not have him run off. We tried everything to break him of this. He was smart enough to know when we had a lead on him and when we didn't! So we tried the Smart dog. After to training sessions I could take him out front and he would not leave our property without a leash! I was so happy. I really hated the thought of a electronic training collar but I also believe in being a responsible pet owner and demand discipline from him. I love my baby very much but he is a big dog so he has to be under control at all times. I am completely sold on the Smart Dog Trainer.
