Peter,

That's the way I've always felt, too, that the members of The Raspberries were each wonderful talents. Hopefully people will continue to rediscover the band and also its individual members.

Thanks for the kind comments, my friend.

Don :)

And well done, Don! I wonder if anyone remembers the Raspberries hit..."Overnight Sensation" or Eric Carmen's "Marathon Man". "Never Gonna Fall In Love Again" was always a favorite of mine! Wow, these are talented people!...Peter

Hi Peggy,

Thanks for your comments. I remember my Dad, the Navy chief petty officer, hated my shoulder-length hair in the '70s --- funny how times change!

So well written. You truly are a music aficionado.

I chuckled about them being kicked out of school. Although it was a bit later (early 70s) I saw some pictures of my brothers and it is truly scary. I can believe my ultra conservative parents let them look like that!

I do love the Eagles so maybe I will check this out. I recall some of Eric Carmen's stuff as well.

Hey AJ,

Dave's songs and lyrics show amazing understanding of life --- he turned 54 on July 10 of this year, but family, friends and fans seem the most important thing to him (no "star ego" in his case).

I love songs with true meaning that are not crafted with sales in mind. Very cool.

I totally agree!!!

And thanks for sharing these very meaningful lyrics. This album definitely deserves to become a great hit, because it paints such vivid and sensitive pictures!

That Sooner Or Later just might fit into a stalking list, judging from the lyrics you've shared--at least, borderline!

Hugs!
