Pros: none
Cons: brush gives out after 1 month. you'll spend lots of $$$ replacing all those brushes
The Bottom Line: Go ahead & get the more expensive sonicare. You save $$ on the brushes & get a cleaner mouth & better gums. Interplak is really a rip off.

| deljones's Full Review: Interplak Family Electric Toothbrush 12153 |
We used interplak for over a year. When the brush was working well, it did a pretty good job on the teeth but was harsh on the gums--our dentist complained that our gums were "chopped up" & recommended getting another toothbrush. Also, the brushes were constantly giving out, after only 1 month of use. Once a brush went out after only 2 weeks! It reminds me of the printer-ink cartridge scam where all the $$ go into purchasing expensive ink cartridges! We got the sonicare, which we've been using for 9 months or so. The sonicare cleans much better & is great on the gums--our dentist
is also pleased. Best of all, the brushes last 6 months & have never gone out so far & cost the same as interplak brushes. The money we've saved on the brushes has more than paid for the more expensive sonicare unit. We love our sonicare & recommend that you go ahead & put down the extra $$, which in the long run will save you money, frustration & chopped up gums!
