Complete with a two-minute timer, recharging base, and two-year warranty, this toothbrush makes the perfect addition to anyone’s medicine cabinet.
When my dentist recommended an Interplak electric toothbrush to me about five years ago, I went to Wal-Mart and purchased one. Electric toothbrushes were a new thing, and I was thrilled at how clean the toothbrush left my teeth feeling; I felt like I had just come from the hygienist’s seat in the dentist’s office. It began to save me money, as I did not need any more fillings.
Five years later, I am still using an Interplak electric toothbrush. Over the course of five years, Interplak has improved the original model a great deal. Now, the toothbrush has a timer, which automatically shuts off after the recommended brushing time of two minutes. The unit is much easier to turn on and off than the prior model. Brush heads are easily taken on and off the Interplak.
Additional attachments are available for the Interplak. One attachment I have found to be quite useful is the flosser. Wiggling back and forth rapidly, the flosser is a convenient way to clean between one’s teeth.
Interplak stands behind their product with a two-year warranty. This covers manufacturing defects, as well as battery replacement.
The batteries do hold their charge very long. One can expect to recharge the batteries at least once every two weeks; it is very annoying to have a dead battery when you want to brush your teeth. After a year of use, the battery begins to lose its capability of holding a charge. This is the reason that compelled me to look in to other models of electric toothbrushes. I discovered the Sonicare brand, and am now the owner of a Sonicare toothbrush, whose charge lasts weeks. My review of the Sonicare toothbrush can be found at this link; <http://www.epinions.com/well-review-1FA1-93A8C78-3A32B44B-prod1>
The Interplak is an excellent buy for families who want to save money on dentist’s bills. It is inexpensive compared to other electric toothbrushes, although the brush heads are expensive to replace. If one is willing to spend $100 on a toothbrush, consider the Sonicare model.
