I don't usually make it my mission to make a company look bad, but these guys have burned me badly...
I bought an intex above ground pool about a year ago, and after setting it up and filling it 75% noticed a hole in the side wall of the pool. I immediately called them and they told me I could patch the hole and use the pool for a few months until the warranty period was up, and then send back a cutout of the pool liner before the warranty period was up and they would send me a replacement.
So just before the warranty period was up, I sent in the cutout of the pool, and cut the rest of the pool up as instructed.
My package got lost in the mail, and I lost the receipt.
Because I could not provide proof that I mailed the pieces in before the warranty period was up, all I have now is my liner cut up into pieces and no replacement. I have spoken to people all the way up the chain, even offering to pay half of the replacement cost, but all I get is "we're very sorry, but we won't give you a new liner".
Please buy elsewhere.
