Pros: price, includes cover, easy to set up and clean, size and depth
Cons: loses air, accumulates slime quickly, difficult to drain
The Bottom Line: Great for a month/season and throw it out, but after buying two due to air loss, I wish I had bought a non-inflatable one the first time.

FIRST IMPRESSIONS - We loved this pool when we got it. It was large enough for our 2 1/2 year old to play and even have a friend or two join her. When it has gotten really hot the teens, me and the hubby have all used it to cool down. We really liked the shape, depth, size and price. The initial selling point was it included a debris cover, but later we found it didn't cover the pool very well and even if covered we still needed to clean it every few days to keep the slime from accumulating.
UPON FURTHER INSPECTION - We are on our second pool in less than three months. The first pool held up great the first week, then slowly we'd notice the bottom ring beginning to lose air. Within a few weeks we'd put air in at night and by the next morning the bottom ring was flat again. The pool came with one patch, but we were unable to find any leaks. The second pool is now doing the same thing. Just to clarify we have never filled the pool above the fill line and are usually well beneath it since our child is under 3. The adults and teens that have sat in the pool have only "sat" no leaning or climbing on the walls. We have even gone out immediately after a heavy rain to scoop water out so that it would not put undue stress on the pool sides. Pool needs to be cleaned regularly as it gets slimey and slick on bottom pretty easy, we keep a bucket of water by the pool to keep kids from tracking in dirt and grass, etc... but we still empty and refill after about two days use. One other con is that it takes forever to drain, we resulted to a combination of scooping with a pail while one person open the drain plug and helped it along.
FINAL OPINION - For the price it's a great pool. The size and depth are good enough to cool even an adult down on a hot summer afternoon. Takes a little while to fill with a hand pump, but instructions advise against using a power pump. Also takes a little while too fill with water, but not too bad. The two we've purchased came with a cheap debris cover and one repair patch. I'm sure the summer heat probably attributes to the loss of air, so maybe a shady spot might do better but in an area that boast mid 90's to low 100's most of the summer that's often a challenge. If you are only using for a month or one season then throwing it out, it's a good pool for the money. If you want to be assured it will last all three months of summer plus being able to possibly pack away until next year...I'd look for a non-inflatable or something made of thicker vinyl.
