A battle in words

Written: Jan 15, 2008
Rated a Somewhat Helpful Review by the Epinions community
Pros:The show has a lot of action. It comes in both English and Japanese version.
Cons:I don't like that there is inappropriate scenes.
The Bottom Line: I would recommend it to anime lovers and people who love battles and Japan.

Inu Yasha is a fun, educational tv program and anime lovers will love the show. I watch it because it is very catchy and has a lot of action. The setting is in Japan. The main characters are Inu Yasha { dog demon },Kagome,Kikyo, and Koga. Koga is the only outsider. Kikyo is dead but went through reincarnation and become Kagome. The group is fighting to get the shikon shard. Just to tell you there is a whole comic book series. Inu Yasha gets into a battle very easily. He is mostly against Koga. The main situation is to get the shikon shard. In one of the episodes Kagome is sick and wounded and the building she is sleeping in starts on fire. Then a wonderful little cat name Kilalah saves the day by going and telling Inu Yasha. Inu Yasha soon comes to the scene and tries to rescue all the sick/wounded girls that are in the building in Japan. It turns out to be alright and nobody dies. This show is for both genders. I recommend the ages of eight through seventeen. My little brother is eight and he enjoys the show as much as I do. I completely recommend that you respect Japan and its culture.
