Pros: Iomega is known for making quality products, gets the job done
Cons: A bit pricey, purple is not my favorite color
The Bottom Line: Not too fast of a burner, but it does what it is suppose to. Easy to install and use. Buy it for $150 or less.

The Install Procedure
---------------------
This external CDRW drive was really easy to install. You just pop the included install software in your computer and in a few clicks, it's installed and read to go. It comes with some Iomega Burning software. The software does a decent job, but I recommend Nero Burning Rom 5. The burner comees with an external power supply and USB cable. The cable plugs into the USB port in your computer (usually in the front). Your're ready to go1
Why did I purchase this device
------------------------------
Simply, I wanted to mix my own music and make backups of my music and software CDs. It's great to have a second copy of music and important software CDs in case they get misplaced or even stolen. I make backups of my music CDs, using the backup in my car, and leave the original in the case at my house.
Overall Experience
------------------
I paid too much for this burner - almost $200. It's good quality and decent speed, but it's worth about $150.
