This Problem Would be Covered Under the Warranty (Reply to this comment)
by drosenalex
I am a merchant that has carried the Isotonic foam for over 5 years. I've seen this kind of problem from time to time, and it is actually covered under the warranty. I'm not sure what this other web site said at the time, but the manufacturer does have a 5 year warranty on the pad against defects. And this does cover these kind of compression problems that do occur (in my experience, it affects less than 1 out of every 500 pads I sell).

You can read the manufacturer's warranty on my site at
http://www.healthyfoundations.com/shipping.html#2

In my experience, the manufacturer has handled every warranty problem that has come up and replaced those pads that had problems. You can contact the manufacturer at 800 995 3472.

Yours,

David Rosenberg

I had the same problem. I loved the mattress cover but it also compressed to less than an inch in about a year. I also am looking for a replacement that lasts.

Makes a significant difference -- trying with other pad (Reply to this comment)

I purchased an eastern king Carpenter Sublime Comfort Visco Memory foam pad from Bed, Bath, and Beyond for $59. It's about 2 inches deep with small fingers on top so it's cool. I put it over a 1 inch latex topper that's about 3 years old and on top of a premium Sealy pillow-top Posturpedic mattress that is in great shape.

My husband was starting to wake up with back pain even with the premium matress and latex topper. This configuration is very comfortable, and my husband noticed a difference immediately.

I read another poster's complaint that her memory foam topper only lasted a year, and I'm hoping that putting mine on top of latex and under a premium mattress cover will help. At $59, if I have to replace it once a year, it's still a great value.

My cats think it's the bomb!

Gee, I'm sorry to learn that your Isotonic Pad didn't hold up. They are so expensive, too!

We've got the Isotonic Mattress and really love it. We've had ours for just under a year now, and so far, so good. It still has the same great shape as when we bought it. I'm keeping my fingers crossed :)

Thanks so much for taking the time to bring your review to Epinions. Good luck here, and enjoy the site!
