I purchased this product, in hopes of helping my daughter's diaper rash. Her rash was because of a medicine she was taking, that actually gave her a rash while we were in the hospital with her. We were originally prescribed a prescription cream in the hospital. Our daughter hated this cream,and so did our nurse. It was the only cream the hospital carried. It felt like it had sand in it. So we thought that we would try a few different over the counter diaper creams. Our nurse said that it would be alright for us to bring some to the hospital, as we were there for over five weeks.

Johnson's No More Rash Diaper Rash Cream

This product comes in a 3oz tube that is blue, and has a flip top lid. The product itself is a white cream. This product was no more than a few dollars(I don't remember the price, it was weeks ago).

Johnson's Claims: to help heal diaper rash, forms a protective barrier(helps seal out wetness), and soothes red, irritated skin. It is said to treat and prevent diaper rash,and protect chafed skin due to diaper rash.

As with all medications, keep away from children. Don't swallow, or get this product into your eyes. Seek help immediately if swallowed.

Our Experiences

While I am not a mind reader. I can only imagine that this product must have been more comfortable for her compared to this other cream we were stuck using. Johnson's No More Rash Diaper Rash Cream went on easy, and was very creamy. The texture of this product was much nicer. I noticed that it did not have a scent to it, like others that contain fish oils, and really smell like fish.

We were expecting a bit more from this product. If it does not work, then it doesn't really matter what it smells like. We applied to her after each diaper change, and also after giving her a bath after EACH bowel movement. Her rash was pretty big.

The nurse applied a small bit to the underneath of her neck, which was also a bit red. This product did not touch the rash on her bottom. It did however work on the underneath of her neck. I thought that maybe since this was a rash caused by medication, that I would not give up on this product just yet. I would take it home and give it another try during a 'normal,' diaper rash. We noticed last week that her bottom had a bit of redness to it. I would hardly of even called it a rash, never less we tried this product again. It did not touch her mildly red bottom. I ended up using another product.

This product in my opinion was very weak. It feels weak, and does not have the thickness that other quality creams have. It also feels a bit on the greasy side. I will keep this product around, just in case as a back up. Really, I would be better off just letting her naturally air out without a diaper.

Overall?

We were not satisfied with this product.
