chadrob30's Full Review: JVC GR-DA30 Mini DV, DV Camcorder
I bought this after having a horrible experience with a JVC Everio HDD camera. The mini DV tapes are way better to work with than the HDD. This camera is light, easy to use, and does everything I need it to do. The guy who rated this camera as a one star camera must be technologically inept, because this is a great camera. This unit is so light sometimes you forget it's in your hand until you need to start recording something. The advanced features are well laid out, and the joystick makes menu navigation a breeze. Picture quality is excellent, and the video is easily off loaded to my Mac via firewire for editing.
