Pros: Great quality digital video plus excellent still pics.
Cons: Original Batter could last longer.
The Bottom Line: Strongly Recommend this unit. Great camera, reasonably priced on the web. Still pics are a great perk.

| mseiler's Full Review: JVC Cybercam GR-DVL720 Mini DV Camcorder |
We shopped extensively for a digital video camera. We tried them all out at the stores, and decided on purchasing a JVC. The $799 Best Buy price was easily beaten by ibuydigital.com (we paid $567).
This camera is very easy to shoot digital video (one button to start recording). Suprisingly, we have used the digital still pictures (in a memory chip) alot. They are so easy to upload to our computer, and simple to take the photographs (again, one button on the camera).
We used this camera to shoot the birth of our first daughter, and it came out beautifully. We've used in in high/low light, inside and outside, and have had no problems whatsoever. Focusing and zooming work great, as does the 3" screen.
The light attached to the camera is very effective, but not too bright for the subjects.
We would highly recommend this camera, and would buy one again.
