| funkfest's Full Review: JVC Cybercam GR-DVL720 Mini DV Camcorder |
I examined most of the other competitors (Sony, Panasonic, Canon, Sharp) in this price range (under $600) and I found this to be the best deal.
This camera uses the MiniDV format. I like this better than the Digital8 format. The tapes are smaller and lighter.
It has 680,000-pixel CCD video resolution for MiniDV recordings which is AMAZING! It has a removable memory card for still images at an awesome 1024 x 768 resolution. Great Auto-Focus.
Comes with remote, all necessary cables, free software to connect to your home computer, Audio/Video ins and outs, USB/Firewire connectivity, Li/Ion battery, lens cap, and just about everything else you need.
I give it 5 stars for the price!
