My husband bought me my Jack La Lane Power Juicer for a birthday gift last year. I had wanted one for a long time, as I was sick of all the sugary drinks and drink mixes that you find at the grocery store. I wanted an alternative that offered variety (of juice flavors) at a lower cost. At the grocery store, you can purchase healthy juices such as Odwalla, but the flavor variety is skimpy. Not to mention the prices are a little too steep. For approximately an 8oz bottle of Odwalla juice the price is $3.99 or more! I can drink that tiny little bottle in two gulps and still be thirsty the rest of the day.

The Jack La Lane Juicer offers everthing that I desire! I get the more healthy juice drink, and can drink all day. The flavor variety is endless and you can guarantee that your palet will be satisfied. You are probably thinking, "That juicer thing is so expesive, is it worth it?" The anwer is YES. Here's why: The amount you would spend on a bottle of juice at the store can be as much as $3.99 and up for just a few good gulps. However, with the J. La Lane Juicer you can purchase fresh fruits at low cost, and create juice ALL day long! The juicer pays for itself in the end. Another reason why the juicer is worth it, is because the flavors and varieties can go as far as your imagination will go! You can concoct any flavor any way you want it. You are not limited to the drink flavors on the shelf at the store anymore. You can even juice vegetables for your kids and add a few apples to give it a sweet flavor. You or you kids will not even notice the vegetables!
When you are done juicing, you can use the pulp to make cakes with. That's right, cakes or loafs! Carrot cakes or even apple loafs!
Now that I told you about the benefits of the juicer, allow me to explain how easy it is to use. I've seen other juicers and this one by far is the best. Old fashioned or old school juicers don't get as much juice. The pulp could still be squeezed for more. The J. La Lane Juicer, shreds the pulp down to nothing and gets all of the juice out. If you take a handful of the pulp it is somewhat dry. This is due to the high velocity speed of the juicer that no other juicers offer. It shreds the pulp and gets ever drop of juice from it. Traditional juicers require that all fruits be cuts up. This juicer does not. The shute/spout is approximately 3 inches wide allowing you to put whole fruits and vegetable inside for juicing. Some fruits like apples for instance, do not even need to be peeled or de-stemmed! They all go inside the juicer down the shute, and presto-JUICE! There is a spill spout on the side of the juicer to control the amount of juice you want you in your cup. It' simple, the spill spout locks up or down when ready for use. To stop drips when you are down juicing, simply push the spill spout up until it locks. No more droplets.
All of the essential parts are detachable. The tops shute/spout, the compressor which pushes the fruit down the shute, the velocity shredder, the siv (The sive is very fine which means no pulp in your juice), and the back bucket that catches the pulp. They are all dishwasher safe and easy to clean.
Needless to say, I love my Jack La Lane Juicer. I've had it for a year and have replaced all sugary drinks including sodas. I've also lost about 8 lbs since juicing as it is a much healthier alternative. Ultimately, if you want more flavor variety, a healthier option, more bang for your buck, and need to have more vegetable in your diet, then this is the right thing for you! If you are like me and hate vegetables, it's not a problem anymore. Just juice 'em up and add an apple for sweetness-YUM!
*TipThe pulp catcher in the back does not clip on, so be sure to keep on eye on it as you juice so that you don't get pulp on the counter if it's not lined up properly.
