I still have my college backpacks. I use them as the storage sites for some of my important papers and books. There is such a sentimental attachment to these bags! These two bags took to three and half years of college.
I never had any problems with them. Even though they were overloaded all the time, they never tore up. Around that time, I used to travel a lot, I would usually take one with me besides my luggage. It was big enough for me to put all the most important things I would need on the airplane. On two occasions, my luggage did not arrive for two days. Fortunately, I had enough spare clothes in my backpack to take me through the hard times. I had a few books and magazines to keep me busy during that time.
I specifically like the leather bottom. It is a good feature which prolongs the backpack life expectancy. In other words, it lasts longer, much longer!
I would encourage anybody to purchase one even though you want to invest in a professional portfolio worthy of your position at work. A backpack is always good to have around. Late JFK was avid backpacker. He used to be seen riding his back all over the streets of New York.
It's hip to have and wear a backpack. Do you have one? Think about giving one to your brother, sister, and best friend
