The first time I bought a Jansport backpack was about 5+ years ago. It cost about $30, and at that time, $30 was a lot for my family to be spending on one back pack. It turned out to be one of the best things my parents ever did. That back pack lasted me all the way through high school. I beat that poor thing to death. It would get tossed, dragged, anything you can think of but it just wasn't going without a fight. Jansport back packs are (to me at least) one of the best, if not the best bakc packs on the market. The price might seem high but when you see that a $30 back pack will last you 4 years it's actually cheaper. After that back pack died I bought another one and I still have it today. If you want to get the best for a good price, go to Jansport.
