Pros: yummy scent, fabulous lather/suds/bubbles, clean rinsing, not drying
Cons: limited edition, need more scents & to be year round
The Bottom Line: I like it better than Philosophy's so called 3-in-1's. This one isn't as drying and the scent is very true and delish!

| bops_mom's Full Review: Jaqua Girls Green Apple Cider 2 In 1 Body Wash and... |
On occasion I step into the local Marshalls to check out the beauty section. Its pretty rare that they have anything nice and even rarer that those nice things are still in purchasable shape. Several weeks ago I lucked out and found, among other things, a few bottles of Jaqua Girls Green Apple Cider 2-in-1s. Needless to say, I snatched up a couple bottles!
About the product
Although I found it at Marshalls (a discount store) Jaqua Girls Green Apple Cider 2-in-1 is still for sale on Jaquas web site (www.jaquabeauty.com/). It comes packaged in a cute mug looking box, inside is the sturdy plastic bottle with handy flip top lid. The bottle holds 8 fl. Oz. of product and normally retails for $10. I paid $4.99.
As a 2-in-1 product Jaqua recommends you use this product as a bubble bath or a body wash. It is on the thicker side for a body wash, is creamy and lime green in color. It smells exactly like green apple cider. At times I can smell the green apples more than the cider/spice scent and other times I smell the spice more. The scent is delicious!
What Jaqua says (from the box): This rich apple cider bathing indulgence will fill your bath or shower with fragrant bubbles, leaving you deliciously clean and smelling yummy!
My Yummy Green Apple Cider Experience
First of all, I adore the scent of this product. Since it is Jaqua Girls, not Jaqua, it is aimed a little more at the younger crowd but the scent is something those who use Jaquas body products would also greatly enjoy. The scent, lovely as it is really doesnt stay with me once Im dried off and out of the shower.
As a body wash I apply a small amount (quarter size) to my bath pouf and that is more than enough product to lather up and wash my entire body. A little goes a long way and the suds this product makes are incredible. The body wash rinses off very easily. Once out of the shower my skin is soft and while it doesnt feel like I just used some body lotion, it isnt as dry as it would be had I just used a more gel type body wash (or Philosophy's 3-in-1's).
Bubble baths are very rare for me these days but my son has enjoyed using Jaqua Girls Green Apple Cider 2-in-1s as a bubble bath a few times now. He also enjoys the scent and the tremendous amount of bubbles a small amount will produce.
It is not often I can honestly say this about a product but what Jaqua's "hype" Ive found to be 100% true (see quote from box above). It is a yummy rich and creamy treat that does have a fabulous scent.
My skin tends to be pretty sensitive to many products that most people use with no issues whatsoever. Im pleased to say that I have not experienced any such issues with my use of this product.
And so
As a holiday scent, this is limited edition so I most likely wont end up buying more this year (I have 2 bottles as it is). However, if it was year round I probably would end up buying it again. If we werent already using it, I would have put a bottle of this into my sons stocking (hes almost 9). I can easily recommend you purchase this product for yourself or someone you know who may enjoy the delightful green apple cider scent. Younger girls, teenagers and adults alike will mostly likely enjoy using this body wash/bubble bath combo. While the price I paid ($4.99) is a steal I dont feel the retail price of $10 is bad at all for a nice little gift.
