Jenga, Jenga, Jenga...
This game is basically a game that determines who in this world has the steadiest hand. In a quick description, this is what you do...You balance the wooden blocks, take out the wooden blocks, do not let the tower fall. It is very fun and challenging. The only bad thing about it is the hard time that some people may have with the set-up.
The Object of This Game
You must remove one block at a time from the tower and stack it on top. The last player to stack a block without making the tower fall, of course, wins the game.
The Games Contents
54 wooden blocks
1 plastic loading tray
Set-up
This is the only downfall of this game. Maybe it is just because I am lazy. Anyway, one player must build the tower on a flat surface by stacking the blocks in rows of three. Switch directions after each level of the tower. The blocks must be stacked on the plastic loading tray to make it easier to stack. When you finish you'll have an 18 story tower, just ready to tumble on an unsuspecting victim. Sorry, just had to add that suspensful/horror aspect to the game. Just kidding.
To Start The Game....And Also Continue....To Play the Darn Game
The player who builds the tower gets to go first. On your turn, you must very carefully and steadily remove a block from anywhere in the stack(except the top) and then place that removed block onto the top of the stack. The block that you stack after taking it out must be stacked in the opposite direction of the previous three blocks. This continues until the tower falls down.
The winner is determined by seeing who was the last person to successfully stack a block onto the tower.
That is basically the game.
What I Liked and Disliked About This Game
This game is definitely fun to play and it will keep you coming back for more. Everything about this game is likable. I liked especially the challenging nature of the game. It is fun towards the end when the tower is about to fall because it is quite suspensful and it does become hard to find movable blocks to stack. I didn't like the time it took to set-up the game, but its all goooooood.
When and Where and Who
This game is an any time any place game. Just like UNO. When you feel like playing something, set it up! Parties are the best situation for this game. Parties seem to be the place for many games. Anyway, there is an age limit even though there is no total person limit. I would say 11+. The box says 8+. Any will do, but the tower falls quicker with younger players.
Durability
This game lasts forever!! The box is still here with me too. Not box heaven for it! I am so excited. Naw, just joking.
This game is worth buying and is worth the time of playing. Do not miss out on it.
