Pros: great fun for the whole family, doesn't require great memory or knowledge of trivia
Cons: the little stacking box that came with ours to help build the tower broke but I think they are made more durable in the newer versions

Gee, we are adults. How much fun could stacking little wooden blocks be? Well you would be surprised!
Jenga is one of the most fun games for adults and children alike that we have played in a long time. The whole object of the game is to start out with a neatly stacked tower of wooden blocks. Each person gets to remove one block from the tower and place it on the top of the tower when it is his/her turn. Sounds easy enough. But as you go the tower becomes more and more unstable, often leaning dangerously to one side. The slightest movement could make it topple. And if it topples on your turn, you lose.
I know it sounds a bit simplistic but it is fun! REALLY FUN!!! We have spent hours playing this game with other adults when they visit us and even those who initially look like they know they won't enjoy it always have fun. And now that our kids are a little older they enjoy it too. I think part of the appeal is that it doesn't require a good memory or a vast knowledge of trivia. All it takes is a steady hand. Maybe it's the simplicity of the game that makes it fun.
I highly recommend this game for anyone who likes to entertain and have something fun to do after dinner or for anyone who enjoys playing games as a family.
