The first time I played Jenga was in college, when we were sitting around one night in someone's dorm room and there was no tv and not much to do. I fell in love with it right away, and couldn't wait until it was my turn to play.
The first game I ever played, me, a Speech Communication major, beat a Civil Engineer!!! The game is played with a series of square pegs, they are stacked up three across, row upon row, and then you have to remove one peg at a time and replace it on top of the pile without knocking it over. The GREAT thing about this game is that it can be played by any number of people. I have often set it up when I was stuck inside alone on a snowy day and played for hours, practicing new combinations of moves to use the next time I played against someone. And it can be played by large groups, either in teams or each person taking their own turn.
If you are looking for a fun, easy, quickly learned game that you will never tire of, Jenga is for you!! They even make a color version now that has some variations on the game.
